Galaxy Comics in Saginaw MI
I'm proud to have "Falling Up" available at Galaxy Comics in Saginaw MI. Saginaw was the closest city to me growing up. I worked in Saginaw in high school at would hang out at the Red Eye and the Saginaw Art Museum. Scott at Galaxy Comics was very supportive of the work. His shop wasn't around when I grew up, but it's beautiful and I'm happy to be a part of it. You can find more about Galaxy Comics at their webpage: GalaxyComicsOnline.com

Secret Drawing Club at Cafe Lili
Secret Drawing Club at Lili Cafe in Polish Hill. I like the vibe at Cafe Lili. And I love working so close to Mind Cure Records and Copacetic Comics. There was a party I wanted to go to at Copacetic Comics, it was going to showcase a lot of good work from Bill Wehmann. I couldn't go because Cumi and I were going to TN. At the last minute Cumi decided we shouldn't go because how sick her and Hazel were. I still didn't go to the party tho, because how sick her and Hazel were.

Star Clipper Comics in St. Louis
I'm happy to have the book at Star Clipper Comics in St. Louis, MO. I was a student at Webster University in St. Louis. St. Louis was the first city I lived in and I loved it. Vintage Vinyl, the Tivoli, fried raviolis and Le Jazz Hot were a few of my favorites. For more info about Star Clipper Comics check out their webpage at: fantasybooksinc.com/locations/star-clipper. These images do not belong to me. They belong to the River Front Times and St. Louis Public Radio.
Secret Drawing Club Wednesday
Secret Drawing Club back at the Lawrenceville Library in Pittsburgh. I got some good work done on a new t-shirt design "the Reluctant Dragon," and a piece that will probably be for the second book.

Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor
I'm proud to have the book available at Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor. I love going to Vault of Midnight, I always try to stop there when we travel from Michigan to Pennsylvania. They have the best bags of any comic book store I've been to. That might seem like a weird compliment, but go there and buy something and you'll see what I mean. More info about Vault of Midnight at their webpage: VaultOfMidnight.com

One of the photos in the book was on the Fremont bridge. More info about Outsider Comics is available on their webpage: outsidercomics.com. These photos aren't mine, they belong to Outsider Comics.

Quimby's bookstore in Chicago
"Falling Up" at Quimby's Bookstore in Chicago. I can't wait to visit Quimby's. They've been really supportive. And to have the book in the home of the Chicago Imagists, and I believe the current home of the comic book giants Jim Mahfood and Chris Ware, is an honor. (These images don't belong to me, they're from the writer Chloe Caldwell and CitySearch.)
Attending Church at the Carnegie with Hazel

Desert Island Comics in Brooklyn
"Falling Up no. 1" available at Desert Island Comics in Brooklyn. Desert Island was the first comic book shop outside my immediate area that showed interest in the work. Which I really appreciate, and the shop itself looks awesome, so I'm excited to be a part of it. More information about Desert Island Comics available at their webpage: DesertIslandBrooklyn.com

"Falling Up" at Caliban Book Store in Pittsburgh
I love that the book is available at Caliban book store. This is probably another case of me making a poor business decision by choosing what feels right over what makes business sense. I mean there's a comic book store across the street. A really nice Comic book store, Phantom of the Attic. I love Caliban Books though. I've gotten great records there and my first Pogo and Krazy Kat collections. If you haven't been there I recommend it. They have amazing rare books at reasonable prices. More information on Caliban Books is available on their website at: CalibanBooks.com
Sunday at the Carnegie
This last Sunday I went to the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh with one of my Favorite People of All Time. I got to take a few photos of Art I liked before my companion needed more activity than the gallery was built for.
